FAQ
All about the TSCM certification.
How do I earn the TSCM certification?
Each level is studied online at your own pace: lessons unlock in sequence, every module ends with a check with an 80% pass mark and the final exam opens only once the path is complete. Once you pass, the certificate is issued automatically with a unique, verifiable code.
What are the levels and how long do they take?
Four levels: Recon (introduction, 4 hours), Hunter (foundation, 18 hours), Sentinel (intermediate, 40 hours) and Commander (advanced, 40 hours). Each level unlocks the next; Sentinel and Commander are by admission.
What is the final exam like?
It is online and timed, with questions drawn by module and difficulty. Recon: 25 questions in 40 minutes, 70% pass mark. Hunter: 60 questions in 90 minutes, 75%. Sentinel: 80 questions in 120 minutes, 80%. Commander: 60 case-based questions in 180 minutes, 80%. Two attempts are allowed.
How can a certificate be verified?
Every certificate carries a code and a QR. Anyone can check that it is genuine in the public register at academy.arimas.com/verifica.
What language are the courses in?
Italian and English. You can switch language at any time without losing your progress.
Are there courses on individual instruments?
Yes: six ACO courses covering spectrum analysers, non-linear junction detectors (NLJD), wireless and cellular detectors, optical detectors and thermal cameras, pocket detectors and speech protection systems. They cost €350 plus VAT and are free when you buy the instrument from Arimas.
Is there a programme for law enforcement?
Yes, the Guardian programme (24 hours, 6 modules) for operational units: technical protection of premises, vehicle sweeps, at-risk persons and field RF triage. It is activated on request, after the agency has been verified.
How much does it cost?
Prices exclude VAT: Recon €149, Hunter €390, Sentinel €1,850, Commander €2,250. The full path costs €3,943, a 15% saving. Customers outside the European Union pay in US dollars.
